Oakland County's new Discount Dental Program became active June 1, 2007.  The program provides savings of 20% to 50% on dental care needs.

It also provides members with:

No claims forms or hassles.
No red tape. You are automatically accepted when you join.
No limits on the number of times you can see a provider.
No waiting. Start using the program right away.
No age restrictions.
No annual benefit maximums.

Oakland County Discount Dental program is not insurance. It is a discount program that can be used at 75,0000 participating dentists in the DenteMax network including 761 within Oakland County and 2,155 across Metro Detroit. DenteMax is a subsidiary of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
 
Cost to enroll is $6.96 per month or $69 per year and up to nine people living at the same residence or students in college can use the card.
