Athens Students Collect Over 10,000 Cans for Needy

From: Shawn DuFresne, Troy Athens High School Student Congress Advisor, sdufresne2@troy.k12.mi.us, 248-823-3963 The Athens High School Student Congress recently organized a school-wide food drive that netted over 10,000 cans for a holiday drive organized by the Troy Police Department and Troy VFW Post 4037. The food will be delivered to needy residents and families in Troy and neighboring communities. Troy Athens High School Student Congress members from l-r, Tess Hochstein, Sharon Pomeroy, Shreya Bhatnagar, Joe Kim, and Anna Ricelli.
