Square Lake and Donaldson, 12/10, 1102 hrs.
Troy Police, Fire, and Alliance EMS responded to a report that a ’04 Lexus traveling east on Square Lake suddenly veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole along the south side. The pole was broken off and came down, which pulled a second pole down, as well. Arriving officers found wires across the vehicle and a single unresponsive female inside. They determined the wires were not electrical/hot and the female was removed. Extrication was not necessary. CPR was initiated and she was transported to Troy Beaumont Hospital where she remains in critical condition. The 72 year old female driver from Troy was the lone occupant. She was seat belted and two sets of airbags activated upon impact. There did not appear to be any serious injuries sustained during the course of the crash. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor, nor was weather. Investigators suspect a medical condition as the cause; however the investigation is on-going. Square Lake was closed for about two hours between Livernois and Rochester during the investigation. 07-46457
Rochester and Stephenson, 12/10, 0130 hrs.
A ’94 Honda Accord driven by a 19 year old male from Troy crashed into a utility pole. The driver/lone occupant stated he had five beers. He failed sobriety tests and was arrested. He was transported to the hospital to be evaluated and then released by hospital personal into police custody. He was conveyed to the Troy Lock-up where he blew .16 on a breath test. 07-46430
Credit, Check, Identity Theft, and other Fraud:
Complainant received a congratulatory letter in the mail for winning a lottery along with a check she was supposed to deposit. The check was to cover “international clearance fees” required to process her cash winnings. She was supposed to wire cash against that check to pay the fees and collect her winnings. She recognized the scam; no losses. 07-46134
Domestics/Family Troubles:
Troy Officers responded to one incident involving a family trouble/domestic dispute where investigation revealed no assaults or other crimes occurred, therefore no formal enforcement action was taken.

Push box stolen off of a front end loader parked in the lot. The complainant/owner of the loader stated his company is contracted for snow removal and left the loader on site. 07-46079
Newgate, 7/4-12/5
Complainant stated he purchased and installed a stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher in his rental home. After the tenants were evicted and moved out, he inspected the house. He discovered the stove and refrigerator were missing, and there was an unsuccessful attempt made to remove/steal the dishwasher. There was no sign of forced entry. 07-46408

Gas Station Lot, Livernois and Long Lake, 12/9, 0330 hrs.
A 26 year old male complainant from Rochester stated that his “friend” left him at the gas station and she still had his wallet inside her vehicle. He stated there was $500.00 in his wallet. He apparently provided several conflicting statements to officers on the scene regarding his actions prior to the incident, including where he met his friend. He eventually indicated he met the female on an Internet site called the “Red Hot Date Line. “ He stated he drank and smoked marijuana earlier and he planned on hanging out with and smoking marijuana with her. Officers were able to make contact with the 25 year old female from Detroit. She explained the complainant was acting strangely, such that she became scared, so dropped him off at the gas station. She told officers he did not leave his wallet in her car. When the complainant was advised of the female’s version of events, he stated he no longer wanted to make a police report. A taxi was contacted on his behalf. 07-46363
