The City of Troy Police Department will proudly welcome two new Police Officers on Friday, March 3, 2006 at a Swearing-In Ceremony. The ceremony will take place on the second floor of the Police Department at 9:30a.m. All are welcome to join current members, the new officers’ families and friends, as well as City Management as these new employees begin their careers with this organization. Refreshments will be provided. Photo opportunities will be available.
The new officers represent an on-going effort to fill openings created by retirements. The Department is very proud of the continuing commitment to public safety that City Management, City Council, and the community we serve consistently provide. The ability to recruit and hire highly qualified officers is essential to the department’s goal of providing professional law enforcement service.
