From the Troy Police Department…

On November 11, 2006, Lamont "L, L-Boogy, Blake" Davnielle PARIS, subject of a DEA and Internal Revenue Service Investigation, was a featured fugitive on the popular FOX TV Show "America's Most Wanted". On December 7, 2006, DEA agents, U.S. Marshals, Troy and Belleville Police arrested PARIS, an accused contract hit man for a convicted drug kingpin, after an anonymous tipster e-mailed AMW.COM which provided valuable information regarding his whereabouts. Following the tipster's leads, agents and officers were able to locate PARIS in a Belleville residence where he was arrested without incident and taken into custody.

PARIS will face attempted homicide charges, drug trafficking and money laundering charges. The DEA and Internal Revenue Service were searching for PARIS for his role in the Lewis Drug Organization in Detroit. PARIS is an accused hit man for the leader of the organization, Quasand LEWIS, who was also charged and subsequently pled guilty to drug and money laundering charges in April 2006.

Thanks to the anonymous tipster and the remarkable teamwork of America's Most Wanted, DEA, U.S. Marshals, Troy and Belleville Police Departments, a dangerous fugitive, who has left a trail of violence and crime in his path, has been apprehended.
