Troy City Manager John Szerlag will be stepping down sometime in early 2006. He has accepted the job of City Manager of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.

John informed the Mayor, Council, and City staff on December 21 of his future plans.

John Szerlag spent many years serving the City of Troy in many different capacities. While I haven't always agreed with him, I have a great deal of respect for his commitment to public service and to our City.
