I've spent the last four days attending the National League of Cities meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina. I'll be returning to Troy this afternoon. Over the next week, I'll be providing additional details on the meeting.

While I was here, I attended several training sessions and workshops. One of the workshops was on blogging. I was surprised to discover how many elected and appointed City officials around the country are blogging.

While the meeting was worthwhile, I'm looking forward to getting home. In addition to being away from my family, I had to take three unpaid days off from work. I need to get back to work on Monday to make some money to pay for all of those Christmas presents my wife bought while I was out of town!
