KEEP KIDS ALIVE DRIVE 25® DECEMBER UPDATE - 2005

The Holiday Season is upon us and the year is winding down. As many of us are gearing up to slow down, I hope this Season brings you the opportunity to count the blessings of 2005 while awaiting the good that lies ahead in 2006.

Due to the generosity and commitment of people like you throughout the United States, and beyond, KEEP KIDS ALIVE DRIVE 25® looks forward to taking giant steps forward both locally and nationally in 2006. Our optimism grows as companies such as Aamco Transmissions, Infinity Radio, Palisades Insurance (of New Jersey), Time Warner Cable (The Dallas Area), and Cablevision (New Jersey) make commitments to help educate residents throughout the country about safe driving practices.

Time Warner and Cablevision are doing so by donating public service announcements to air on their stations. Aamco is preparing to launch public service announcements in concert with Infinity Broadcasting stations in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania beginning in January.

In addition, to corporations, individuals have been generous in helping to fund the growth of the campaign through their donations.

One particular donation has been earmarked to produce a new product to help get the KEEP KIDS ALIVE DRIVE 25® message in neighborhoods.

KEEP KIDS ALIVE DRIVE 25® FLAGS!!

KEEP KIDS ALIVE DRIVE 25® Flags are now available for order on our web site at www.KeepKidsAliveDrive25.org. These limited edition flags (at least for now) are 28" (width) X 42" (length), two-sided, stitched nylon flag designed to hang from the side of your house/porch. The KEEP KIDS ALIVE DRIVE 25® logo is printed on each side of the flag for high visibility from each direction. These are perfect for homes with small yards as the flag is easily visible from the roadway. Flags are $55.00 each, including shipping. For more information, please log on to

The flags are made possible through the generosity of actress Arleen Sorkin and her husband, producer Christopher Lloyd. Arleen’s film credits include Batman: Gotham Knights, America’s Funniest Videos, and Days of Our Lives, and many others. Christopher Lloyd is best known as Executive Producer for the hit long-running television series Frasier, Wings, and Golden Girls.

They, along with the Beverly Glen Trust, donated the seed money needed in order to produce the first 36 KEEP KIDS ALIVE DRIVE 25® Flags. If there is great interest in the flags, we will work to secure funds to continue to have these produced.

If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to KEEP KIDS ALIVE DRIVE 25 to support our work as we enter 2006, please visit our secure site for donations at http://www.keepkidsalivedrive25.org/donate/.

Your generous support is greatly appreciated.

LET’S NOT ROLL IN TO THE NEW YEAR!

Dick Clark may be legendary for his Rock n’ Roll New Year’s Party televised each year. However, when it comes to driving, rolling, as in rollover crashes, is no reason to celebrate. A timely reminder comes in the form of a recent article published in the Omaha World Herald. Check this out at:
